What are they talking about???

The other day I was driving down the road and I saw this flock of about a hundred or more birds swarming around and finally perch themselves on the the telephone wires. I looked at them and they were all divided up into little groups of two or three or four birds, chirping and having a good ol' social time (They must have just come from a community potluck or something).

And I wondered, what were they all talking about? What sorts of conversations were these little cliques of birds having? Were they talking about the upcoming migration south and how the planning and packing was going?? The start of football season? How sad it was that Harvey Clawfoot got hit by an oncoming semi just last week? The great deals on Nest Improvement materials over at the Ace Nestware Store? Maybe they were talking religion or politics?? The new hawk neighbors that have been moving in around Lunken Airport in the last few years? Or maybe what came first, the baby or the placenta? Or what is the single guy birds' version of the human term for girls, "chick"? How their retirement nest egg savings account is doing (Get it?? "Nest Egg"???)? Anyway, they all seemed engrossed in their little conversations and I was just wondering what they were all talking about.....
